ROSTER MANAGEMENT

    • Macro Plan to ensure you have a healthy roster for game day & travel
    • Recruitment when/if needed
    • Assessment & Appraisal of team or age group needs 
    • Prepare for Guest Players
    • Be aware of any players you are loaning to other teams or events
  • Weekly  
    • Execute & Finalize all roster changes, club player pass is executed  
  • Responsive 
    • Respond to unforeseen changes (i.e. injuries, move-aways, players who quit) 
    • Coordinate with your Director & Age Group Staff 
    • Respond to players achieving at a signficant margin higher than the level of the team, or significant level below the level of the team
  • Game Day/Playing Time
    • Manage Playing Minutes abiding by the Club's GAME TYPOLOGY GUIDELINES
    • Generate Team Sheet for Game Day to effectively prepare substitution patterns
      • ​Regional Leagues with "Restricted/Limited" subs require calculated planning & communication 
        • ​Manage "no reentry" rules balancing compliance with team success 
    • Contingency plans
      • ​Go up a man, or down a man
      • Go up a goal, or down a goal
      • Non-controllables, injury or weather or referee alterations
